What did you do this past week?

This past week, I was mainly focused on finishing up Phase 3 of the project with my group, which mainly just included working on filtering and sorting, and some unit tests.

What’s in your way?

Right now, I don’t think there’s really anything in my way! The project is going well, and I’m understanding the SQL stuff that we’ve been learning in class pretty well.

What will you do next week?

This next week, I’m probably going to continue to work on the IDB project!

If you read it, what did you think of the More getters and setters?

I thought that this week’s article was a nice addition to last week’s article. It really helped solidify the idea behind why getters and setters are so bad in Object-Oriented Programming for me!

What was your experience of SQL? (this question will vary, week to week)

I didn’t really have any SQL experience before this semester, but so far everything makes sense!

What made you happy this week?

This weekend, I went to College Station for a friend’s Ring Dunk, which was a lot of fun! It was nice to hang out with some of my friends from high school because I don’t get to see them that much.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week would be to try and get out of the house and just take a walk a few times a week. I’ve found that when I’m more active, I feel a lot better physically and mentally, and walking (or running) is a great alternative if you don’t have time or don’t like to go to the gym!
